For this project we had to tell a story, so I decided to do one about having split parents because I felt it that's it a big story. I felt I could connect and communicate through this story too. I chose this story because it has a lot of meaning and I felt people would be able to relate to this and understand what was going on in the piece. I also wanted to target children. When parents go through a divorce, the children are the ones that are affected the most. Parents often don't take into consideration how their children will feel after the divorce, and that it can affect them for a long time.

For our third and final project the topic was activism. I chose water pollution and did a wire sculpture. Out of wire I made a turtle because when I think of water pollution I think of the turtles and other animals eating the plastic; especially now. There is a lot of talk about saving the sea turtles and using reusable straws. I feel like this is becoming an even bigger issue as time goes on, and as we're using more plastic without care.
